Big News in My Small World…
I have some pretty good news 
. It looks like I will be hired on at Peanut’s school! I went this morning to drop him off and the preschool director pulled me aside and let me know that a position has been approved. YAY! I went today and did my fingerprinting and filled out a million forms. I think I will be working Mon – Thurs. It will not pay a lot, but every little bit helps. It looks to be a really good opportunity that will have more benefits as time goes on and as Peanut gets older. There is potential to have my teaching degree paid for if I choose to go that route. The only concern I have is that Peanut will be at school longer than he is now. It means he will be at school all day Monday through Thursday and Friday morning as well. Granted, he will be with me in the same classroom during the extra time that he is there. We will see how it goes!
Oh wow, that is so awesome! I know you really wanted to get the position so we are thrilled that it turned out to your benefit!
It will be interesting to see if you choose to go for your degree. I can’t think of anyone that would be better with kids than you will be and after my grandson you would be able to handle situations that would freak out some teachers! Peanut is so lucky! Having his mom with him will give him such a comfort zone, it’s wonderful!
