Can’t Quit My Real Day Job!

Well, so much for starting my first day of work. Peanut was lethargic yesterday and quiet. For being a very active 4-year-old, I knew something was not okay. By the time evening rolled around he had a terrible cough and a temp of 101. We called Lola last night to see if she would be willing to watch him so I could go to work and she graciously agreed to (because she is an amazing and wonderful Mom-in-law). However,we have been up since 330 this morning and he has a temp of 103. It seems to be a bad chest cold. I hope it does not progress to anything more than that. I hope the school will be understanding of this situation. If not, well, I guess I was not meant to work there and it is not a big deal if I am unable to do so.
