This week we are back to school! So far it has been extremely hectic, but manageable. Peanut is doing well and seems to be feeling so much better. Everyday he tells me his ears are popping. I am hoping that is a good sign of healing? He goes in a couple of weeks to get his ears rechecked so we will see what the specialist says.
I had orientation today for work and that went well. I am really excited to hear about the degree program offered through the school district. If I choose to go back to school they will pay for my tuition- I would just be responsible for books, etc. How great is that? I could earn my liberal arts degree (A.A.) in three years by going to school one night a week. Sounds doable for sure. After I earn my AA, I could then transfer to the University of Arizona to earn my teaching certificate. I plan to call the PCC coordinator soon to discuss my options and work out a plan to get back to school. It is one night a week, but it is 5 hours (!!!!!). We will see if this is possible. Others have done it so I am sure I could as well.
I have further training coming up in the next few weeks even during Spring Break. Mom#2 has been gracious and awesome and will watch Peanut for me. Yay! Thank you Lola!
Yes you can do it!! Greg will be teaching the adult students at William Penn in April, similar program to what you will be entering. It’s similar to what he got his Masters Degree with so, yes, it is possible and a real point of pride! Go for it!
I’m delighted that you have found the love of teaching and want to stick with it to do it for your future, you will be awesome!!
