Small Update

I have been busy the past week in behavioral training. It has been interesting and well worth my time. The course was on managing aggressive behavior. I was pleased to be able to learn some additional skills on how to avoid a physical confrontation while dealing with aggressive behavior in children and adults. I think I learned valuable behavioral skills and also had the great opportunity to learn how to physically handle a child or an adult who is kicking, screaming, etc. without hurting him or her. I am positive the first day back at school I will employ these new skills as a lot of the kids are Special Needs and require some further attention and management.

This week I am also learning CPR and First Aid. I am looking forward to a long weekend before school starts back up. I think once this storm goes through town I will plant the seeds in the garden. I will take pics and put them on here too.

Peanut is scheduled to get the tubes put in his ears the 27th. I am hopeful it will all turn out okay. No major news on Slack finding a new place of employment. He is working hard to apply for as many qualified jobs as he can. Here is to hoping something pans out SOON .
