Ok, so it is that time of year again and I need to buy a swimsuit. Going to the dentist, or hell, the gynecologist is a more pleasant experience than buying a swimsuit. I am 31, almost 32, and I am a mom with a mom’s belly. Long gone are the days of triangle bikinis and whispers of thread. I need coverage, people! I would like to buy a swimsuit that does not make me look like a suburbanite mother while also avoiding that “Damn, she looks like the Michelin dude! That girl needs a tan AND needs to cover up!! While I am fairly certain I can get rid of my glow-in-the-dark skin with a bottle of tanning lotion, I am not sure where to buy a swimsuit. Victoria’s Secret swimsuits are nice if you are a perfectly proportioned cupcake or a size 0; or if you pretend to be either. Alas, I could not impostor either. I am an average woman with average everything with a long torso. I was thinking a tankini with a little extra length to cover my tummy pudge. Any ideas out there where I should shop? I will post pics of what appears to be few choices from the web and maybe get ya’lls advice….Lucky You

This is one of the tankinis I am considering except it is navy with green trim:
yeah, I like that:) that’s a good style. On me the tank would ride up over my rolls. I don’t even think about suits anymore. But you would look good in anything, anyway. Love you:)
Hehe! And you think YOU have problems finding a suit, you should be a grandma that has put on a TON of weight since the hotel sold and I sit on my rather large (now) bottom all day working on a computer. Can’t wait until I get myself motivated to exercise like I should, then maybe the Grandma tummy will go away….or at least shrink to the point of acceptable for being a grandma LOL
