This past week has been hectic to say the very least. This last week of school has certainly kept me busy. We had school for 3 days and yesterday I spent 8 hours cleaning the classroom. We are still not done so I will go back next week to finish rearranging and cleaning. Our classroom is going to be used for summer intersession so I am sure I will have to clean and organize again before school starts back up. Meh. The hardest part of going back to work is not being able to keep my own house as organized and as clean as I would like. Balance…..more like juggling with one arm tied behind my back! I had my review yesterday by the preschool director and it was all positive so that is great. I hope to be in the same classroom while Peanut is in the room right next door. I have been seriously conflicted about what to do with him: whether he should stay in the same classroom with me, whether I should move out of that class, or if he should move, blah blah blah. The decision came to him moving next door because he will be with his peers who will transition with him to kindergarten at his elementary school when it is time. The room will also be ‘allergy-free’ which may help him as well. He can always come and stay with me in the classroom I will be working in if he gets bored or lonely so that makes me feel better. I think my new schedule will be working 3 full days a week. This will be better for the both of us as it has been a staggered week and hard for Peanut to adjust to. I did not like it either. There will be a lot of new changes at the school and I am hopeful they will have positive outcomes. I need to check with the college but it looks like I could be starting school in the fall- yay. I want to get my degree. Slack has always asked me what my passion is as far as career-wise and I always come back to knowing that attaining a degree has always been a strong desire. I am looking forward to accomplishing that goal!
The wind has torn up my garden- grrr. It has been crazy windy here the past few days with some funky storm system in the area. Snow on Mt. Lemmon in May?! Enough where chains are required?! WTF!? A couple of days ago it was 105. It is now 64 degrees out…Whatever. I enjoy the break from the oven it will all too quickly return to.
