Umm..How are We all Okay with THIS?!
Is it because it is cold out, the holidays, or are we too preoccupied with our own little lives?
Banks’ Use for Bailout Fund Kept Top Secret
Seriously, is no one upset about this?
My question is: what can I do as an ordinary citizen to protest this? This is NOTÂ okay.
I, for one, think the whole concept of bailing out every business that is in trouble is crazy. No one offers to bail out the small business that is pumping money into a local community, just the big guys with the big bucks lobbiests.
Then to keep the expenditures secret, it’s our money, we should be able to see where it goes.
We keep putting people in Congress that couldn’t possibly live on a budget like most American’s do, they just keep adding debt to this country and expecting the tax revenue to increase enough to pay for everything in their pork barrel desires.
It would be fabulous if this country went back to the basics of living within a budget, making those that receive “bailout” money accountable, having honest people in office rather than being corrupted by the ease of money and gifts and the fear of losing the office if they stand up to the special interest groups. Not going to happen, I know, but wouldn’t it be nice!
